Allen Nevalainen is a first-time author who hopes to share the power of imagination with young readers. Growing up in the ’80s, an active imagination was a powerful thing. While there were VHS movies and video games lying around, there were also more interesting things to play with—like laundry baskets, wrapping paper tubes, and fans you could yell into. The Adventures of Super Al captures the adventures Allen created with his own imagination as a child. It has been a lifelong dream of his to share this story and artwork with others, along with the values he learned as a child: sharing, standing up for what’s right, and helping your neighbor. Enjoy!
